The island of Reethi Rah within the Maldives atoll is the location for this new 'One
and Only' resort development. The existing island is being enlarged and reshaped to form
a variety of private beaches and protected swimming areas with an extended coastline
which will accomodate 120 guest villas and suites, some of which are on stilted structures
over the water. The resort includes a dive centre,main lodge with restaurants, bar and large
swimming pool, an 'over the water' seafood restaurant, a spa and sports facilities. All
structures are in timber with thatched roofs. This project was completed in 2005.
